5. Installing the Ink Cartridges

Clean the heads using the SOL INK cleaning cartridges.



Make sure the ink type matches the ink cartridges.

Press



Make sure the drain bottle is installed.

Press



Insert the SOL INK cleaning cartridge into slots 1 and 2.

Insert rmly until you hear a beep.



Insert the dummy cartridges into slots 3 and 4.

Press



Pull out the SOL INK cleaning cartridges from slots 1 and 2.

SET SOL CL-LIQUID

The ashing numerals indicate the slot

numbers. Follow the on-screen instruc-

tions and carry out operations in numeri-

cal sequence.

These instructions mean to remove the

SOL INK cleaning cartridges from slots

1 and 2.

When you remove a cartridge cor-

rectly, the number stops ashing and

stays lighted.

Slowly insert all the way.
