Configure Windows

PC performance setting

1. Open the Windows Control Panel.

2. Click System and Security and then click the System icon.

3. Click Advanced system settings located on the left side of the window.

If the User Account Control dialog appears, click Yes.

4. Click the Advanced tab.

5. In the Performance area, click Settings.

6. Click the Advanced tab.

7. In the Adjust for best performance of item area, click Background services.

8. Click OK to apply the setting.

9. Click OK to close the System Properties dialog.

Power management setting

1. Right-click the Desktop and click Personalize on the pop-up menu.

2. Click the Screen Saver icon.

3. In the Screen saver box, select (None).

4. Click Change power settings.

The Power Options window appears.
